Reviews for "Ninjas vs Mafia Deluxe"

pretty good

It was a good game but it still has more potencial, you could add special atributes to some weapons so that when you win the sword you don't stop using the brass knuckels and when you win the gun don't have to stop using the sword and so on, or you can have enemis with certain weaknesses, i think if entourage members have more attacks it would be interesting too, and maybe some tag team moves but thats exageraiting it, and off course you should ad some medals with that said it was still a cool chalenging game that's why i'm giving this 8 and i'll be hopping for a sequel

Very Good

This game is good but it could use a few more upgrades , more inventory , more enemies and made maybe a bit longer storyline quite short . On the other hand i do like the graphics , the names of the characters , the dialogue all in all i give it an 8/10.

This is good, but it gets boring.

The detail, sound, and plot are really good here. But the gameplay doesn't have lasting appeal, at least for me anyway.

Good work.

Overall a good game...

The game definately held my interest for a while. But of course there were certain aspects that I feel could be improved upon.

I think the entourage members should have differed from the enemy. I'm referring to the turtles and the ninjas. The overall experience was slightly ruined for me when a member of my team was also a member of the opposition.

I think a new recruitment system may help the game also. Maybe by visiting a variety of small buildings on the map. Each building would have an individual character with various difficulties who would challenge you to a fight in exchange for their "services".

The upgrades were very limited. I think increasing the difficulty, and including more upgrade options would add a lot more depth. Maybe give the player the ability to upgrade the weapons and stats of their entourage as well.

Allowing upgrades and items to be bought in between battles would be a nice addition too. I was often left frustrated that i wasn't able to do so, ended up dying and then had to go through each battle again.

On the dying front. Being sent to the map once Victor died, despite having 2 other fully functioning entourage members, ground my gears a little. Especially when i couldn't sub out Victor prior to the next battle.

Despite these nuances i thought it was a very strong effort. The animation was nice, the characters were great, the music was good and the overall idea was a sound one. The sfx could get tedious at times.... but i could live with them.

Nice Game

with all the buffs and irritations of a Pokemon game. BTW, there seems to be a glitch in the game. When I beat Tequila Monster and go back to visit the Godfather to unlock the next stage, it tells me I beat the game, which I know I didn't. To try to correct it I refreshed the page, and advance to the Al Pachinko stage. I'm using Firefox 3.6 with Flash Player 10 Plug-in, and am unsure if anyone else is experiencing the same glitch.
