Reviews for "Madness: Premeditation"

wow

really amazing

Superb

10 because it really is like yhu say Chess.

the fact being that yhu dnt know where anything is gonna move until yhu first start off is a big walk in the dark here.
The worm got me good the 1st 89million times (actually 5)
The concept is really based upon the right gun for the right job.
only problem i has was accumulating AP points.

but ey...its a challenge huh

AP glitch?

I had unlocked quite a few AP points and put them to good use, I went to main menu to watch some scenes when I came back to continue playing (AKA try to kill the clown ship again) all my AP points were gone. D: Not too hard to get them back but could you please fix this glitch? 10/10 regardless great game.

Good concept, felt unpolished

Well, I really loved the concept. One of my major concerns was that the game was too short, though. Another big flaw was that certain areas ran at a great 25fps but places like the disco room ran at like 6 which was rather annoying. Don't use as many effects next time. Also, I really don't like the input lag. At one point in the game I had to redo a level about 8 times because it wouldn't read my input. Another big problem is chaos, aka randomness. I used the top tier armor piercing gun through most of the game and most of the time I had to watch a replay 5 or 6 times before it would correctly play the level and kill everyone. The bullet spread was just too chaotic. I understand that there has to be some degree of chaos but come on. It makes it hard to share replays. I would love it if you would make a sequel expanding on the original and fixing some of these problems in time for next year's Madness Day.

Really needs bullet time

Awesome idea for a game. Quite difficult though.

It's annoying that there's so much trial and error. I'd suggest you fix it by allowing the player to see the level in advance. And also to rewind during astral projection mode. Think of it like an animation creating program, with a bar to slide back and forth between frames

And add a bullet time button or checkbox or something. The replay really should be in slow mo. Even if just for the final kill.

Also add some victory animation or something. Anything more than just standing there like a lemon while the timer runs out after everything is dead.

Bullet time is one of the ideas we toyed with, I agree we definitely need that for the sequel :)
