it took me a little longer to win because i didn't figure out to push the up button while using thrusters to go higher for awhile. Awesome final boss, but i did feel the other bosses were to easy to beat.

Okay, for those ot you keeping score: Robot wanted Kitty. He did that. Robot wanted Puppy. He did THAT. They didn't get along too well, though, so Robot got Fishy and Fishy became seafood for the Kitty. Whoopsee. We now join you in our new game, sans Kitty.
This is a Robot Wants game turned up to eleven. I started the game and there are BOMBS falling from the sky. I start getting some weapons and power-ups and learn that I have rapid-fire, multi-directional plasma AND that the Puppy gets a laser bunker! Also, I CAN FLY! Woohoo! I- Ummm...there's a giant spaceship up there...
Yup, this shooter game has a lower section and an upper section, with tougher enemies. The game has re-spawning enemies too, the whole way through. This is to facilitate the recharge of your much-needed batteries, so don't knock it. The bosses, by the way, look even cooler than in the last games, just saying.
Oh, and the ending? I figured that was going to happen, but nice anyway. Hope you make other good games, even if they're not Robot Wants ones. Ciao, for now.
The most entertaining...
game I've played on Newgrounds in a LONG time. It was simple enough to keep me interested, and whenever I thought I was closer to the end, more opened up for me to explore. Great job!!

* Awesome design! I used to make video games like this. My main job was tiling and designing the levels, world map, and general layout of the game.
You just can't beat the simply awesome entertainment value of old games, and yours stays true to that.

* If you make more games in this style, try to layer them even more. As in, try and add more elements of play, such as puzzles or even more enemy attack
patterns.
* I love the interface and the equipment for Robot. I'd recommend maybe putting more main weapons in besides a million shot gun(which was fun to spam though!) as the main weapon, and then maybe adding a weapon switch system.
All in all, I really don't have anything negative to say, except that I would LOVE to see you create in this style from now on :P and to also develop your skills in creating games like this. I would love to see how far you can go!
This took a ton of work, but maybe you could find a partner and do a collaboration on a bigger project! That would be amazing.
