it was my first REAL pixel game series and i ADORED these the random humor,the gameplay,THE art,soundtrack etc were all great
I love this game. I played it when it first came out and it's still as good today. I love the metroidvania style - making you go around for upgrades. The bosses are all inventive, the music is interesting.
Hint - get the banana gun. It is hilarious and ridiculously overpowered.
I missed one flight-length powerup. And was only able to clear all the ice cream on one side.
Wish there was another in this series. A spaceship you rebuild then travel to some other planets would be the perfect way to continue the scope progression that's been set.
