Good start
While the game was well done, it lacked in actual game design.
It is good if weapons have weaknesses, so that choices mean something, but it ended up with Guns being totally overpowered, in the end I was just emptying my rocket launcher into the left screen end, and when I ran out of ammo, I fired 4 arrow salvos, and the rocket launcher was reloaded.
If weapons would only reload when equipped, this would add a lot of tactical choice there.
Also, the top of the line weapons always seem weaker.
The 5 arrows deal less damage than the 4 lightning arrows, the laser has a fire delay and limited range compared to a rocket launcher.
The special effects were for either the throw or pierce objects, looks like nothing can bounce AND pierce. This forces the player to invest in unneeded abilities.
Also, all weapons were kinda used the same, no tactic or finesse required, it ended up being ridiculously easy.
