Have many questions
1.why didn't nick just get his knife after his gun thrown by a zombie?
2.why did the scientists (not one scientist but many)stop making antidotes after they made one?
3.why are the humans fighting each other while they can join forces and defeat the ones who are exterminating their race?
4.why didn't the scientist just use that acid gun?

1. This was an error on my part. However, I like to look at it as one of those scenarios where you wake up from a deep sleep and aren't really on top of your senses.
2. There were more, but as you saw, the lab was trashed and there was only one left.
3. Human beings typically won't do that, even when in crisis. You'll find that if not by natural human nature, then past disasters throughout history, man was still against one-another. When you take away all of the rules of a society and all bets are off, hell, some really don't have the survival as a species in mind at all, just their own survival.
4. He did. I mean he couldn't use it throughout the rest of the movie since there was only really a little bit left in the gun, which he pretty much used up all in one shot.
