Reviews for "RedHand"

fantastic.

I gotta say, I really enjoyed this movie, it was a bit choppy, but I don't mind, I loved this movie anyways. Say, did anyone else notice the "The Last Samurai" reference? Where he says "You want me to kill some people? Sure I'll kill some people. You want me to kill the enemies of some people? Sure, I'll kill their enemies. For five grand I'd kill anyone you want, but keep this in mind, I'd happily kill you for free." It's similar to when the guy in the Last Samurai says "You want me to kill Jappos? I'll kill Jappos. You want me to kill the enemies of Jappos, I'll kill the enemies of Jappos... Rebs, Sioux, Cheyenne... For 500 bucks a month, I'll kill whoever you want. But keep one thing in mind: I'd happily kill you for free."

Amazing, I'll say it over and over again...

I have called things epic before, but this blew my mind away. I apologise in advance if this looks like a rant, but I can't stop saying how good this flash is!

I could use a number of words to describe this: beautiful, enigmatic, breathtaking...meh, I'm probably getting too worked up about this or something but seriously this is a very damned good piece of work, congrats :)

What struck me first before anything was the amazing quality of the voice acting...OMG I don't know where to start it was so deep, so professionally done.

The story-line, animation, sound? Don't get me started. It was really good!

In regards to the story-line, I think what made all of these factors give the ultimate punch was that there was a really successful combination of mystery, violence and analysis/introduction/dialogue of characters - not only that, unlike other flashes of the same sort of genre; which when they do a prologue/first episode, usually has a distasteful, artless combination of gore and senseless violence with minimal story-line, this flash had every factor in the right proportion - and even though not much of the story wasn't given away enough was given for the viewer to enjoy.

Your animation certainly wasn't a let down either - it was a great complement to your story-line. However, I will make the complaint that at times the seemingly neckless view of your stick figures, and the flat facemasks of the soldiers was at times annoying. But nothing in this world is truly perfect is it? This criticism is meant to be constructive :)

Oh and another thing, when people compare this to another of my favourites, the Castle series, I say they shouldn't because there is nothing to compare. In my opinion the Castle series and RedHand are two seperate series, great in their own right and most of all they're different. Sure they're about darkness and violence but they are obviously made in two different perspectives. They really shouldn't be compared, its like saying they're as equally good or bad as each other, and of course they're not.

I'm not sure if I'm overreacting or something, but only occassionally people have the chance come across a superb work of art, something that looks and feels great from every single angle and perspective, so much that makes you want to forget it even has miniscule imperfections...and this flash is one of those instances :D

Sorry for the rant. Nonetheless, a really great job well done! I can't wait for the next episode, and it's definitely one of my favourites!

That was very heart-warming, i really appreciate your review. People like you really inspire me to keep on working and doing my best. I know, though, i'm not the best out there, but i do this out of passion, and not competition. I hope i will be able to give my all as i continue this series, thanks for your interest :)

simply amazing... : O

I don't even care some of the parts were a little choppy, or that it isn't yet complete. This is one of the BEST stick figure movies (yes, it's a movie) I have ever seen. the voices were PHENOMENAL, and the drawings/animations were simply AMAZING! I liked how his employer reminded me of a generic RPG intro person. Great job, and I can't wait to see the full thing. P.S. I used Firefox, and had no problems.

Meh,....

I've seen these kind of stick figure videos all over the internet. The only thing that was keeping me from giving it a one was the voice acting. The only voice actor that I didn't really care for was whoever did, Leon.
