I can't believe some of the comments....
It takes all kinds to make the world...
That said, I really do not know what to make of people who do victim blaming and who find violence hilarious.
People stay in abusive relationships because they have no self respect, self esteem, or see themselves trapped. Afraid to be left alone, to start all over again. Blackmailed into staying into the relationship, or by circumstances, financial or familial... Abusive partners whittle down whats left of the person's ego to nothing.
If you know this and still think the victim is to blame... .... *sigh*
As for those of you who found the violence hilarious, or wanted to see 'some aftermath', like her flying backwards and hitting the wall etc. to actually 'fully get the message'. You sick *******. Is that sort of graphic violence really what would make you understand that this is no joke?!
Thank you for making this. At least you got some people to reflect on this very serious matter, whether the victim is male or female, this happens in relationships and is way more common than we think. It just goes under-reported.
