For those wondering about the swastika...
It was originally a symbol of good luck and well being for thousands of years in Eastern religions like buddhism and hinduism, and it spread all over the world as a good luck charm before it was hijacked by the nazi party. You can still find swastikas on many things in the west that predate the 1930's as decorations on buildings and such. It is still a prevalent symbol in Asia, where it has a different meaning than in Europe or North America.
