not a bad game...pretty addicting actually
Really liked the idea...
BUT- Some of the mechanics were off...he would jump and get stuck in places or fall through randomly at different moments..the score would also increase dramatically or decrease for no reason...
but overall i thought it was fun
Not bad.
The game looks good, but its choppy on the movements. The graphics are well put together and the mechanics could definetly use some work. My character was upsidedown and took up half the screen at one point. Either way its a good concept.
Cannot shake the half-finished feeling.
Something about this feels glaringly amateurish or half done. The cheap sound effects and the inconsistent way they trigger, the lack of animation on so many things - how rain from the cloud flickers into existence and out without seeing it fall, the character doesn't animate as he walks, these small touches that distinguish a game with a look of professionalism. Your controls feel just a little jerky, and with the low speed and jump height the game can be a pain with just how unclear it is what you can stand on and what you can't. Your graphics looked nice but the feel in play just lends them a somehow dirty feeling of low quality and cut corners.
Annoying.
The sound effects were agrivating and out of balance with the 3-d esque animation.
There were also several glitches... poorly made.
