Reviews for "Recordshop Tycoon"

One of the best tycoon games I've played!

I wish there were more music genres but all in all it was a superb game! I await the sequel like a child waits for christmas morning!

Achievement Unlocked: Great Tycoon Game

Amazing
1.Liked the mechanics of the game
2.Good property number, maybe more in the sequel
3.Great trophies. Had to put a lot of fun time into it.(time well spent)
4.Nice Jazz/Blues soundtrack, a longer, less repetitive one would be nice.

Overall, it was great. Keep working on it.

good, but need a better sequel

there's a few things you may want to improve.
1. when moving things tke place whit foot leaves at the same place, I sugest making a clean opion that clean the place where people kad walked leavin more space for other things when moving stuff in the store
2. adding more registers and hiring staff to: clean the store, secure that it won't be robbed ether day or night, work at registers.
3.be able to manage few store with out seling cd
4. be able make a discount for one tipe of cd
5 make the clock at the wall show the time in my time zone.

that's all

It's all coming :)

Great Game.

I really enjoyed playing this. One suggestion would be to display your money every time you are at any/every purchase screen. When in build mode, for example.

Pretty good.

Music - 9/10 The music was actually decent, but it did get a little bit repetitive after a while.

Sound Effects - 8/10 Most of the sound effects were fine, however the sound of either the customer buying the product or leaving, I couldn't tell which as the lag was impairing my ability to do so, was rather loud in ratio to the other sounds.

Fun I had while playing - 8/10 It started off really fun. Reading the manual definitely helped in learning what to do, and increased the fun factor, however when the game got to the point that the lag was taking over, the fun factor went down. Especially since I wasn't able to finish the game because there was so much lag.

Animation - 9/10 Until the lag set in, the animation was smooth, and the different items and people were really a treat to see in the style that they were drawn in.

Length - 8/10 The length of the initial 100 days would be fine if the days themselves weren't so short and didn't just fly by. Being still in the first property when the hundred days were up, I couldn't help but wonder if it was possible to get to the 4th property within those hundred days. The fact that I could play beyond the 100 days was a definite plus.

Gameplay - 7/10 The gameplay is pretty simple considering that the mouse is the primary tool, and the arrow keys are used sparingly. However, again, the lag made it near impossible to click just once on something and have it go through. By the time I quit the game, I was having to click 5-6 times on something to be able to get my desired response from the game.

Overall - 81%
