Very artistic

I noticed a lot of subtle symbols in this game.

--SPOILER WARNING --
Every time you get an apple, I notice the tree slowly withers away. Does the tree indicate how much the island is dying? I notice more of those wire-looking plants are growing after each apple (or am I mistaken?).

Every time Dolly throws an apple from the tree the apple is rotten, further indicating the tree is dying. But the apple is then refreshed and anew once rinsed from the water. Then you see Dolly getting holding a new apple afterward, is this her trying to bring life to the island?

In the "Good Girl" ending, she is abandoned by the people of the island. She cared for them, but they didn't care for her (Perhaps that is the reason why she moved out of the large house where the others live?). But Dolly cared for the apples. She had the seeds, where you implying that the death of the island was necessary for life to grow elsewhere?

In the "Bad Girl" ending, she smiles as she carries the apple with her underwater. Was the apple key to saving the island (and hence the reason why the people demanded the apple from her?)?

Maybe I'm looking too much into this, but I am eager to figure out what all this means. Perhaps the original artist could clarify? Or others could help me?

Woah, glad you noticed all those details, and yeah, the plants grow after each apple.
You know, every time she took an apple, the tree withers a bit more, and those plants keep growing up. When she takes the last apple, the tree dies completely, and then you can see the island covered by the plants. She wasn't really trying to bring life to the island.

I heart this game.

Really really nice, dude. I'd love to see this on a much larger scale. I got most of the medals; played it through twice to get both good and evil. The ones I had trouble with were the demon slaying and tornado ones -way, way beyond me I guees I'm just not nearly fast enough- and the Ozzy one. ?? No idea what to do there; I feel like I am missing something really obvious... maybe not. Way to go.

Great voltaire refrences in the medals. are you a fan of him? hes great. also incredible game. positivly loved it. music was a bit sad. loved smashing pumpkins XD..not the band. literaly. destroying the pumpkins
