Diner Dash: Prison Edition
This game is obviously an adulterated version of Diner Dash, and while I have fond memories of Diner Dash, this game seemed too choppy and seemed to try too hard to copy it. I did like the humor in it, and as far as art and style of gameplay go, it does fill a couple of niches Diner Dash doesn't. All in all, I was pleased with the game, but didn't find it to be anything amazing, so 6/10 3/5.
Stupidly annoying positions
Game was pretty good... until you have to do actions very quickly. I finished the game but it is irritatingly stupid to place the objects so close together. I often lost levels just because I would accidentally grab the mop instead of placing the trays for wash. Also, the contraband does little to nothing since inmates come so fast that you get more concerned about the ones in the line up than the ones eating.
This game needs to improve on the placements of the icons, especially the food icons so the player wont repeatedly click on the wrong ones.
My complements to the chief!
I`m not a big fan of the Genre (though I do play a ton of such games). While the gameplay isn`t the best I have seen for such types of games, it is very pleasent on the eyes, and and the theme was well kept.
Diner Dash knockoff
It was ok. If I were encountering this game for the first time I'd have given it an 8 or a 9. I'm only giving it a six because it's a knockoff. Anyone who's played Diner Dash will have found it almost exactly the same. The ONE difference is that they're inmates and you have to keep them from brawling. But that's it. Everything else is pretty much the same. Nothing new and nothing interesting.
Game is fun and all but it does get boring very fast and it is impossible to get expert score. Never losing table and never having any fights and I still missed all of the expert scores except for one.
