amazing
Well this is probably one of my favourite Flash shooters, and I've played quite a few now.
Graphics and sounds are neat, the upgrade system is fun to use, and there's even some strategy to getting the achievements. Kept me busy for a few hours and never felt cheap or frustrating at all.
Will probably come back to play it every once in a while, even after getting all the medals.

Awesome game!!! Very fun, with reasonably hard to get medals and very high replayabilility! Easy to learn, hard to master, as teh cliche goes.
I got all the medals and then I was playing again just for high score and to kill some more Vessels to see their Bestiary entry, and I got up to just over 2,500,000 score, at lvl 25, and I was doing fine!! and then it froze!!! \
NOOOO I HATE THIS GAME. (obviously I like this game but that was frustrating and I'm not going to play it anymore.)
We've tested the game, and the game has over a million views on the net, but this would be the first report of the game freezing. It really doesn't seem possible on the programming side of things. I'm going to assume that your flash player crashed within your browser, unrelated to our game, but there's no way to prove that. Either way, sorry it happened during your play with our game, glad you still enjoyed the game either way.
Pro tips for everyone.
You can get Chain of 1700+ by not collecting any pixels. ( level )
Because each time you level up , the enemies level up too.
So if you stay on lowest levels , you can kill infinite enemies and gain massive score because of the chain and get 1700+ chains.
Also by chain it means killing x enemies without being hit , not killing x enemies as fast as possible.
visually compelling, fairly addictive
but the game seems impossible to beat, there's simply too much going onscreen

great game overall,only with the big number of enemies,, it get kinda messy

and i still wonder,,, if this is the "sector for 1 ship" what would a whole legion of these be like?
