art was good, animation was good. The graphic overlay was weird it just looked like I had a bunch of dirt on my monitor. The whole thing was wayyyyyyyy too slow though, if this was on youtube I would have skipped a lot. Make it less boring, but yea cool stuff.
Random and nice.
The story goes a bit slow, but I guess the piano music suits the pacing. Nevertheless, this is a damn nice effort that was made only better because of it's sheer unexpected twist.
A hint? Add some extra special effects next time.

Well animated, moderately well paced
The animation was amazing well done. I loved the use of the layers effectively and the focus to highlight subjects. The pacing between shots might have been a little over-extended however, but not by much.
Can't say I liked the twist, or the musical choice for it myself, but undeniably, the animation itself up to that point was top-notch.
Aaahh, the Chainsaw.
When you feel lonely and everything else left you in this cold world.
You can always count on your chainsaw to be there with you through the thick and thin (and maybe some blood and limbs too).

Don't be so harsh.
That was fantastic. I liked the plot. It had a creative, but unoriginal twist. I, as well as everyone else who watched this, thought it was suicide. But chainsaw? Wow. Definitely changed the mood of the flash.
You're animation skills are par. You're art is great. Work on this big projects. Spend lots of time on them. By the time you finish them, you will have learned a lot and be able to touch them up.
Infact, this flash was almost perfect. I feel as though the ending was rushed, but with a bit of touching up - it'd be fantastic.
I did not, however, like the text for speech. Voice acting is the way to go, in my opinion. Unless you feel as though it'll ruin the "sad" mood, in which case the text shouldve been displayed on frame, instead of a white box. I assume this was done, because you rushed the ending.
I also liked the music you had playing. It fit the story very well, but sound effects are a requirement. A chainsaw noise would've helped the drastic mood change, and pumped up the audience.
All in all, don't be so hard on yourself. Shit was dope. Don't rush, and you'll be submitting front pages in no time.
thank you! I decided not to use voice acting, I have good recording equipment, but I want to get a little more used to it first. I think I will do two or three more uncompromised flashes like this, and then start my bigger projects. I hope you're right about the front pages. Nice review.
