You chose one that was actually explained? Never mind that this joke has been beaten to death by the Hulk, they learned to tie the shorts round their ankles to avoid buying them all the time. The movie doesn't mention this as it's a bad adaptation of a terrible source material.
Animation was nice but of all the plotholes and idiocy of the series you picked something that doesn't have a punchline.
