I normally hate stop motion stuff, particularly on newgrounds, but hell this made me laugh so hard. Everything was amazing, but what made me laugh is how the ufo was a donut XD that cracked me up every time I saw it, you could've used something like to paperplates, or a cd, but a donut... pure smarts...
Why/how did you decide on a donut?
thanks, sometimes a animation just needs to have a little more donut in it. That's why Jonas (one of the 4 students who worked on this short animation) decided to use a donut for the space-ship. I don't know exact reasons behind this decision, but it worked.

Pure awesome! The esplostion and "crater" in the apple made me laugh! But the fade in from "space" to "planet" was a little to fast for me but it really didnt matter at all. It just creates this slight disturbance. (For me. Cant speak for anyone else.) But perhaps since it was suppose to be "crappy" you overlooked it or did it on purpose since some things are super well done.
Super awesome anyways.
Ps. whats the tune in the end, at the bloopers and credits?
