Reviews for "VGCats: Number One"

well the animation is good but

You should have just used the audio from the vg cats adaptation with no name rather than make your own.

Decent

Now, I'll give you this: your animation skills are very good. There's nothing particularly complex that happens here, but just the way the characters move is amusing and nice to look at.

However, the voice acting is... eh. I'm not going to say BAD, but Leo sounds a little stilted, and your mic is low-quality.

A valiant effort, friend!

Could be better

Now I noticed that you've used audio files from VG Cats Adaptation with No Name in the later movies and I'm fine with that. However, there are problems with this one. The animation. Most of the animation relies mainly on tweens and traced pictures of the panels from VG cats. However, I do admire your ability to animate the action from one panel to another, but it looks a little lazy. The voice acting here seems a bit off with some characters. I also noticed that some actors have mics that make static-like noise which gets annoying. The emoting wasn't as good either. I do notice a bit of an improvements in later parts, but I honestly think that animation could be upped a bit.

Also, congrats on getting Scott Ramsoomair's praise.

MikeandTreyVideo responds:

Actually, I think this is my first attempt to make a flash without using tweens (aside from a few shape tweens :D). I found it a lot easier to just use Omahdons stuff and send him a copy of the finished project to upload to his account.

ffffFFFFFUUUUUU

it has potential.

MikeandTreyVideo responds:

i think it's better than some of the other videos i've seen. most i've seen are just voice dubs to a slide show of panels from the comics.

That was bad

Ok, this was your first try, so I'll be lenient. Watching this much amount of text being spoken is like reading a book while someone else is speaking the same words, except slower. The sound and voices are a bit off, and it doesn't help that they sound like being squeezed through a bad microphone.

Your other two animations of VG cats were alot better: its good to see you've progressed very well between animations.
