Hmm...
Well... It was very inventive. I liked the story, I guess most people hadn't played the 1st one. You have a good thing in progress. But:
1. Don't use low quality sprites and don't cut around them. I saw that you had low quality sprites in that cutscene where Sonic transformed.
2. Make a hitTest box at the bottom of the screen, So If anyone falls off, they come back up.
3. When on Cutscenes don't make indivual boxes just make a box at the bottom of the screen and have a portrait of the character.
Work on it and It will be really good. Oh, and Don't break it into parts unless you hit the upload limit. It's kinda annoying.

But I see potential I know how hard it is to make a flash game. But Instead of
if(_root.player.hitTest(_root.badguy)
{
_root.badguylife -= number
}
You could try an attack button. It would also help if you made the pictures more clear. Aswell as the floor tiles.

I'm so CONFUSED!
Looks like you put a lot of effort into this, i was just really confused. I really couldn't understand what was going on, why there was a giant, and if I was actually attacking anything. As far as the art and the sound, it all seemed fairly fluid. Maybe its just me, but i just couldn't get into it.

This is one of the worst games I've played on the portal in a long time. The "story" makes no sense whatsoever, it is terribly programmed, and the graphics are just slopped together. And to make it worse, your grammar and spelling are absolutely atrocious! Try to work on your graphics first, the better your game looks, the easier it will be to play!
