Nicely done

This was a great game!

Pros:
- Good control
- Good sound
- Familiar genre
- It's a game!

Con(only one)
- No break button

Keep up the good work!

You hit me where it hurt, man.

I'm a HUGE Top Gear fan. I played that game top-to-bottom on every difficulty multiple times over. That said, seeing a spiritual successor made by another Top Gear fan is great, though the upgrades add one of Top Gear 2's only endearing qualities to Top Gear 1's gameplay, improving the formula substantially.

The only complaints I have are these: 1. Turning is a little too tight in the beginning, making it too hard to pass cars you're trying to get around. Corner turning is fine, but maybe loosen the turning on straightaways to make it easier to maneuver around vehicles.

2. Don't care for the music. It's not horrible, but for one it lacks the charm of the original Top Gear game's tunes, and for another, I don't care for techno.

Those complaints are minor quibbles, though. This is a well-built game.

Bug report

When you pause then unpause music turns off

Fantastic!

It's circa 1989, you're in a ferrari Testarossa with your gorgeous blonde companion. It's all about the win. Welcome to Outrun.

Jokes aside, this game feels like an awesome remake of the superb Outrun. Grpahics are 80s/early 90s, the sound feels retro, on the whole I love it.

It's nice to see tribute to the gaming basics - worth a go.

Great game

This made me miss my sega genesis, it's retro modernized lol
Monkius, you are now officially my new favourite person for the comment about watered down games, I thought it was just me thinking that games were becoming to simple. I still think all my older games kick ass, I'll take gameplay over graphics every time.
Speaking of which, you should probably make it so that courses where it's raining are harder. I get that it's a fair bit more work for you, but it adds a new element to the game and makes it better, so it's worth it :)
