Reviews for "Big Pixel Zombies"

Fun, but feed your pets first.

Fun game, good design and sound though the upgrades could be a bit more robust. The cats and dogs were an absolute terror and served to ramp up the difficulty, thus the warning. Feed your pets, make sure they have water and know you love them because after the 20th level or so you will need some time to not want to instinctively harm anything that meows or barks.
There are also a few dead spaces, such as the left side of the buildings at the bottom of the screen. If you kill enough to get the most powerful gun and the most powerful dog its possible to create a crossfire there that nothing stands a chance of getting through to hurt you.

Decent

The graphics are kinda interesting and a good I've never seen style.
The gameplay was rather good and I liked the upgrades you put in.
Only the game played a little stroef and it was really easy.
Music was cool and further a good game.

It should have...

It should have different modes like survival - campaign - multiplayer - plus hard easy and medium also molitov and more guns

but really fun (too easy)

great game

It was fun, the graphics weren't half bad (although it kind of reminded my of cuboy..) but the one thing that got on my nerves were the cats. They would pop out of nowhere, often from the opposite direction of the zombies, and effictively screw you over...

not too bad

1) the art design wasn't bad, it was simplistic, but not too fancy, which was ok by me as i wasn't here to kill beautifully drawn zombies, just loads of them.
2) the weapons were either fine or sub par. there wasn't a lot of choice, and the minigun was just not powerful enough compared to the dual AK to gve it justice as the final weapon.
3) the dogs were great. however, they can make the game a lot easier. the zombies don't attack the dog, so going into a corner, making sure the dog stays in front, is a tactic that will keep you alive for a lot of the game.
4) the difficulty curve. after the dual pistols and before the ak (i didn't bother with the shotgun) ther was some difficulty, in that you really had a tough time to kill the bigger zombies. however, after the AK, there was no more difficulty.
5) variety. it became monotonous very quickly. after lvl 24 no new enemies appeared, you had a lot of upgrades, and were bringing in the kills on a floor where you could barely see the ground due to the blood. after this point the challenge was to stay interested until the next level.
so, to sum up, i'm a little dissapointed in this game. it can't decide whether it is the sort of game that wants to kill me or make me so powerful i can shred anything i want. it just ends up being tedious.
