Reviews for "The Fog Fall 3"

Christ that was hard to play.

I'll start with the pros. It had a nice atmosphere and I liked the variety and options. It was interesting how many things could be combined and how many things there were to collect period.
There were some difficulties in playing this which seriously hurt my score. First of all, the map was confusing. I often knew where I had to go, but had no real idea how to get there. This happened too many times for my liking. Providing a minimap, or arrows on which directions you can go, or at least providing several ways to get to the same place would solve this issue. Secondly, sometimes it was difficult to figure out what I was supposed to do. First of all, there was figuring out how to open the dialogue paths with characters. The first one is triggered by picking up an obscure piece of paper on the corner of the screen. Some of them I couldn't figure out what were triggered by. Another problem with dialogue was that I couldn't revisit the dialogue to look for clues as to where to go next. Going back to the hunter at the end, for example, is not something I would have figured out without the walkthrough. The only other thing I had to use the walkthrough for was when I missed one item in the underground area. The items blend into the background completely, which is realistic but irritating. There's realism to benefit the atmosphere of a game (which you did well at) but then there's realism which is too real to be fun. Though the majority of the game was the former, some components devolved into the latter and I felt that it really impacted the game.

I'm frustrated

This is an awesome game with a very eerie, perfectly fitting atmosphere, and an unsettling story. I liked the fact that at one point you help Anne with her life but then you are forced to ruin it in the end anyway. But I am frustrated. I looked in the walk-through and I am very close to beating the game, but I somehow walked my way from the Observer's Den back to Town, and now I can't get back and I have no car, and am hopelessly stuck. Laaaaame. I'm also not the only person experiencing this problem. I've read another review from a person with the same problem. This game deserved more than a seven. If you can make a fix for this unfortunate error in mapping and travel, it'd easily be a nine. And please people, if you haven't experienced this problem, don't go rating everyone's reviews indicating the same glitch as useless. Just be happy that you got through the game without problems.

Stuck

This game is really great, just like your previous works. The atmosphere gives off a really convincing creepyness to the entire game. However, i am stuck even with the guide. I had just finished the replacing the turbine and it calls for me to use the kerosene on the house but i have tried no option to do so despite already having all the required materials!

BUG?

I dont konw its right or not need do. but when you try to give that bear trap to the old man who you take him screw caps. He will say same word like last time you give him screw caps. Then that bear trap will keep on you mouse cursor. Can not put it to stuff list again. What i can do is re open the game.

Glitch

When you unlock the 2nd map, theres this glitch where you go back to the 1st town, and you cant find your car, and you're stuck there. You need to fix that.
