Reviews for "We Are Science Probes"

I find your lack of faith distirbing

I didnt like this simply because prior to watching it I had just broke off contact with my friend of 2 years for trying to force Athisum on me. Sure being smart is important, but so is being spiritually aware. This flash implies that without a mind we are fools and will believe in religion, making it an anti God film dispite if you say its not.

Therefore you are making fun of Religion or God respectively and as a man of God it goes without saying how I feel about this flashes theme.

Aside from that, the animation wasent half bad. I didnt care for the music that much but it was alright. All and all ill giv you a 3 for this one.

A Decent Little Flash

Well made, although when the robot noises started they seemed a little jarring. However, I generally respond with dismay any time I see the makings of the religion-v-science debate. Everyone on both sides is far too close-minded for an interesting conversation every time. Then again, I say this as a man intensely dedicated to science, God (the Abrahamic one), and the Buddhist way of life, so I'm sure my meter for open-mindedness is a bit skewed ;)

Anyhow, back to you. You've made a well-balanced and good-looking flash. A rather engaging story, with just the right amount of random humor. I definitely enjoyed the titles of the books on the shelves. I agree with your notion that the music was very good. In a minor reference to the upper paragraph, I thank you for trying to nip the debate at the bud in your notes (as ineffective as that was).

By the way, tell the truth: were the broken glasses amidst a corpse and a pile of books a Twilight Zone reference?

Very thought-provoking flash.

Though the animation is slightly simplistic, the message behind it is very deep. And you certainly sent it across well. ANY kind of dogmatic thinking, either based totally in the certainty of science being the only way or in religion, or heck, in practically ANYTHING, can make one close-minded and stupid.

I think what's ironic is that what seemed to have caused all of this most likely is people getting their hands on tools of science and blowing themselves up. In short: science probably screwed over the whole planet. Or perhaps it was fundamentalist religious groups that did it...

...who knows?
