Pretty, not much Game
You know what was a cool game? Cadillacs and Dinosaurs. Wanna know what this game has? Good sprites and backgrounds, and......... that's it. Serious, this website alone has better brawler games, and everyone here is overrating this for its graphics and nostalgia exploiting.
Very few attacks, arbitrary weapons and items, and ridiculously easy. Have you ever PLAYED the arcade games this was based from? I don't think I ever went below 4/5 health. Try making a good game first, THEN prettying it up.

A Worthy Beat'em Up Experience
This game has the essentials of what made and still makes a fantastic brawler. Superb AI, the candid male and female protaganist vigilantes, and the usual bonus pick ups along with smashing oil drums or crates to find items to refill your health bar. There's the weapon pick-ups as well that range from your classic knife or metal pipe to firearms, semi and burst fire. Then we have the standard roster of enemies. Grunts, sub-bosses, and of course whip-wielding females. Not to mention, there are creative bosses you have to take down at the end of each level. The graphics are crisp throughout and in no way outdated. I have always been partial to the beat'em up genre and honestly games like this are just great for an hour of mindless, face-breaking fun.
