Eggman flies in on a giant fleet of airships and just pummels Sonic and pals. Finally after all are dead but Sonic, Eggman points all the guns on the airships at Sonic and fires..... then Eggman wakes up and realizes that it was a dream.

Ah yes.
I can understand why people say Dynasty Warriors cause it has similar wailing guitar riffs, but I can appreciate the classic that is Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
Hilltop Zone is also a personal favorite.
