not as good as first
for those complaining about slowness, go to setting and turn up the game speed.
Compared to the last one, there was a LOT of bluffing, almost to the point of being predictable.
I'm not a good poker player but won both first tournaments and bought the entire town on day 5. I went to the coal mine and beat the two idiots hands down. The bluff a lot, but worse than that, they bet big and then just fold all of a sudden.
I wouldn't pay to play and who would
First of all this is a basic card game which I can play FOR FREE ONLINE WITH REAL PEOPLE. I don't have to pay to play against mediocre AI who can easily be beaten by pushing the bluff and folding on utterly crappy hands. Of Course I wouldn't know if the "governor" has any better AI because I'd have to pay to do that and I have more entertaining things to spend 20 bucks on.
The coal mine game wasn't even hard on brother bluffed his ass off and the other played conservatively. It wasn't a challenge and it wasn't entertaining. No one really cares about beating and owning Texas, we just want to play poker

I can understand losing once in a while, but I have played through 3 tournaments and only won ONE hand. This isn't luck, this is just...horrible. I mean, in a game of luck, shouldn't you win once in a while? Good game, but very frustrating at times
Not as bad as it gets made out to be.
This game gets under-rated. Looks like because people lose. I admit, I play poker occasionally, but I'm not the best and I beat the normal mode. Did get cleaned out once by the locals, but I was being pretty careless with the chips there too. I will also say, on the flip side, there should be a mode for beginners to learn and practice the game some and the whole 'luck' aspect should be made a little less one sided at times.
Anyway, alright animation, challenging AI, smooth enough game play, interesting little plot and it's not impossible to beat. I think you've earned a 7/10.
