Reviews for "Shadow Snake"

My only qualms with this game...

Honestly, there are 2 things here that bug me- the first being a lack of pause button. If there is one, it's none of the usual buttons. It makes this game frustrating in that a friend called, but I didn't want to stop playing to answer the call. So, with no pause button, I was forced to ignore him.

The other issue is that, from time to time, a momentary and absurd loss of control would send my snake headfirst into 3 or so demons. I'm being as delicate as I can, and still it happens. It breaks the experience a little by making it more a test of patience than a game.

Otherwise a very fun and absorbing little flash. The final boss, while very slightly annoying (couldn't get my tail out of the way of the many demons), was very stylish and well designed.

The whole game was like that- very sleek and a pleasure to watch. When my snake had a moment to stop, it was quite amusing to see his face shifting about periodically.

9/10, 5/5. Work out the couple of bugs and you'll have a real winner on your hands.

Near Perfect!!!

The person under me said it well. Needs pause button for emergency's! Also I had to quit the game because I opened a new tap to put on some music, then went back to this page and it wouldn't let me do anything... Like its a picture on the screen the mouse just went right through it. I tried clicking on it and more and nothing happened... It was an amazing game too.... :(

awsome job

i thought that it could use a higher frame rate

Fun

This is a really fun game with smooth and simple mechanics, contracting graphics and a nice overall theme to it. However, boredom quickly sets as the enemies usually follow a strict pattern and are quite slow in Normal mode. The shiny pieces spawn often and usually in twos or threes, so the levels fly by really fast, making this game feel stupidly short and easy if you are not trying to get all the Flawlesses(sess', whatever). Which reminds me, does unlocking all of the Flawess in Normal mode actually affect anything in-game? All I need is the last level before the boss. On that note, is there a story to this game? Because I sat back really confused when the gate-thingy exploded and the game kinda ended. Good game, but it wouldn't hurt to do with a little more explaination in the tutorial/comment/sequel, whatever. Nice job.

Good Game
