Needs a more unique ending.
There really wasn't any good reason for the brown squirrel to suddenly get friendly with the gray squirrel. If some dude starting punching you in the face to get your laptop, but then while you were fighting with him, some other guy tried to pick up the laptop, would you want to team up with the first guy and then share the laptop? I wouldn't.
It would have made more sense if the brown squirrel finally defeated the gray squirrel, and then returned to the hole only to find the nuts gone. He could look back, and the gray squirrel would be gone too. This would mean that the gray squirrel was just a distraction while an ally made off with the loot. You could probably think of something better, but even this is less cookie-cutter than the event flow that you used.
I'm not saying it was horrible, but such detailed and carefully crafted animation deserves better writing. You could have really benefited from spending an extra day or two on the writing process before you poured two months into production.
All in all, still a nice piece of work.

while I appreciate your perspective, it was simply for humors sake. The idea was that BOTH the brown and gray squirrel were going to lose the nuts they were fighting over, simply because they were fighting. So instead of both of them suffering, they team up with a common mindset.
The last frame after the credits show them sharing the nuts, proving its better to be nice than to fight. Its a simple animation with a simple message. Thats all I was going for.

unfortunately, thats all I had planned. It was a hit-it-and-quit-it kind of animation.
I'm moving on from my squirrels onto bigger and better things lol

I think it would be more awsome if u made a sequel and have them use weapons like a sword. lol like ninja squirrels
