Reviews for "The Randomly Random Game"

Addicting!

I definitely enjoyed the art style and funny sound effects. The controls and gameplay where quite simple and easily enjoyable! I found myself slightly addicted to it just so I can see what the next boss looks like, and the next one, and the next one... so on and so forth! Nice work

Axiom responds:

Well I only have a few bosses right now, the goal is to take advice here learn what I did wrong and try and add a few more levels to it.

Id like to have 5 levels total with at least 5 different badguys per level and two different bosses per level. One small, One main.

Glad you enjoyed it.

great!

now what are the controls!? XD

Axiom responds:

Oops.

Controls are:
Arrow keys move you around.
Space bar shoots.

The Pythagorean theorem is a random power up. It will give you health, a shield/foot or kill everything on screen.

OK MAN THIS WAS A GREAT GAME BUT I JUST ATE A RANODOM RED BERRY AND SOM OF IT IT GOT IN MY EYE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

amazing

im a fan of randomness, and side scrollers like this and putting them together is genius, perhaps a sequel with colour scheme other then black and white please.

Axiom responds:

Awww I like the black and white.

Maybe I could make a version of both?
Glad you like it :)

Fun

-I found this game to be rather enjoyable even though it was one of the simplest shooters i've ever played. Having a start screen with control instructions is helpful even though I was able to figure out the controls by trial and error pretty easily. Cute little cat enemies that shot pencils and some challenging but not too difficult boss enemies. Not bad for a first game.

-Only flaws I found were that you get full health regeneration too often and it makes the game insanely easy since all you have to do is spam the screen and you'll get a health powerup before you run out of health. Few tweaks and it should put some difficulty into the game.

Axiom responds:

Thanks... I didn't think to put instructions on the opening screen till AFTER I uploaded it *slaps forehead*

Hmm I tried to make the power ups random. But obviously I need to go back and tweak it. Thanks for the advice.
