I'm just gonna say it
First, this game was okay. The plants were awkward to water, as you had to be right on them... and that's pretty much the game. Not much to say about it. Good work for 2 days, but that doesn't make it better than "meh"
I'm not trying to be an ass, I'm no troll, but I'm gonna be honest about what I feel here. This "make a game in 48 hours" deal was just a bad idea. So far, all the games from this I've played have ranged from "decent" to just plain bad. This was the best one, and it's still just okay. "But Mega! They only had 2 days to do it' so they're great!!!1" No... Being good work in a short amount of time doesn't make something great. Being great makes something great. These games are just short, glitchy and awkward to control. Again, I'm not trying to be rude, and well done to the programmers for challenging themselves to make a good game in 2 days, but when you try to rush something that normally takes months to be done in a very, very small fraction of the time, you're just not going to get a good product. Imagine if da Vinci set out to paint the Mona Lisa, and then someone said, " You only have 3 minutes to finish" Same idea here.... Well, I think I've made my point.
