Reviews for "Red Storm Robot Day"

Looks awesome, but

The round starts while you're still reading in the menus and briefing screens. Forces you to start playing. Which I suppose adds to the starkness of the situation, but in honesties is irritating as hell. I reccomend fixing it quickly and resubmitting it. Otherwise I think this actually has some decent potential beyond that.

This game... How does it work?

seriously though? As so as the game starts your give about 5 seconds to read god knows what then your bombarded by an orgy of a clusterF**K. I eventually figured out you could buy stuff after wave 15, and that they dropped health packs a couple of waves later. That is unacceptable in my opinion. And I'm still not sure if their is anything else i don't know. Fix your tutorial, Cant give a higher rating till you do, and the game should pause when you open you inventory screen nuff said.

Kinda lame

Highly repeatitive with little difference in enemies. There are many bugs involved with the shop, and lack of proper instructions lead to players guessing how to do things, or how things work.
To specify, many attempts at selling items were unsuccessful, until I bought an item, with which i could then sell 1 item. Another issue is the "upgrade" icons at the bottom.
Other issues happened when I hit "return to menu" to check on the awards. However, when I did none of the menu tabs worked. After closing and opening again I checked to find that some of the awards I had accomplished, yet were not given to me, which was a huge dissappointment.
These are just a few of the many many problems I faced when playing.

Badim responds:

u get the award, check your user page. i just dont know how to show medals in game in new NG api... working on that.

Playable

It's not terribly new, and I would say that's okay, but it doesn't even have much to make it distinct from others or completely enjoyable on its own. The production value is good. The images are sharp and the movement functions well. The problems start with repetition. Even as you advance, the waves don't distinguish themselves from one another very well. Some units use beam weapons which, while weak, are fired with an accuracy that makes evasion near pointless. I would say that mortars, missiles, and obstacles make up for the enemy's accuracy, but the field is so small and cluttered, that it becomes supremely easy to get jammed in a corner and take some easy damage. The weapons you can buy are nice in AOE and tracking (at least for a handful) but lack and significant improvement or structured selling display.

Would have been a good game

if it wasn't such a glitchy programed nightmare.
