Hit detection is lousy...
Nothing is worst than having enemies hitting you from way out of their attack range when they swing, yet when they're standing right in front of you it's so damn hard to hit them.
Fix that problem and a good game you will have.

Being able to save and pause would make this a lot better, and adding new moves would be good too.

I like the music and i love the gameplay (sorta reminds me of castle crashers) I would suggest you make another, but next time try to add some sort of an upgrading system, different weapons and other goodies (maybe more costumes)
