Ep.1 was better, IMO

I'm going to have to echo a lot of sentiment here- that being, this game is inferior to Ep.1, overall.

I like that getting parts isn't totally random- and that shops actually have useful items now. I also like that the ship auto-collects energy when it can, it means the computer isn't grabbing everything when we go head to head over a node.

I don't like the lack of an explorable overmap, or the tiered combat system. Similarly, the ship weight and value limits are bogus, especially considering that they didn't exist in Ep.1.

Honestly, I hope this is kind of just a flier, and that episode 2 is much closer to Ep.1 in terms of gameplay. That said, this isn't a bad game, it's just not as good as it's predecessor.

Glitched

I liked the first game, so I'll give this one a 6 because I'm pretty sure it's good. The thing is I can't make sure of it. there's a glitch that causes me to be incapable of succeding a mission.

I completed two tasks (the basic combat one and the basic turret one), and now whenever I complete a mission, it says Task Complete at the top of the screen and I get the window with the statistics of the mission... and that's it. I don't get back to the base, it's not that there's a delay and I have to wait a few seconds, I don't get back to the base AT ALL. And when I use the option to go back to base, it works, but the mission is still marked a incomplete and I don't get the reward.

I imagine I could probably fix this by starting a new game, but the glitch is still there, and I don't really want to risk this happening again (plus, that kinda spoiled my fun). Anyway, you might want to check that out.

oh no!

the black screen of death! XD i woulda loved to play this game but all i got was a black screen T.T but considering the people who actually played gave it a good review, im not gonna give it a bad rating ;3 6/10 for now? ill rate it rate it when i actually get to play it XD

Problem

I would love to rate the game but for some reason, the button to enter my account name isnt working. The title screen looks good though, so I give it a 5.

I hate to tell you this but this game is no comparison to the Ep.1,
The plotless missions are not what this game can use to compete with the other games. The Plot was really attentive for the first submission which went well, it gave the entire game a line of developement and all of its vitality.
The introduction of ground/aero units are only making things complicated in my opinion, the map system was also a nice touch from the first submission.
