Reviews for "The Tween/Easing Tutorial"

great job

Well it was pretty basic but simple to understand in the end

-Tutorial-
I liked how you did an intro and then the navigation menu to explain what it was all about. The screenshots will help people follow along with you.The short and sweet examples also helped show people what it should look like. You left nothing out and explained it 100% completely.Which will help users become a very expert flash author.

-Music-
Very upbeat and catchy one thing that makes a great tutorial is great music to keep them entertained. So I liked the choice of music you picked.

Simple and educational tutorial

Where was this tutorial back when I was learning?

It's a really good, simple tutorial. A lot of animators see tutorials as the easiest way to get something into the portal, and sure, it is, so there are many bad tutorials out there.

This one, however, is not one of them. It's a really well-made tutorial, explaining the simple tools of tweening and easing, two of the most used tools in flash.

Your language is very easily understandable. There are no typos (that I could see), and it shouldn't be too hard for a novice to understand. You use screen caps to show what you do, which is also very good. You take small steps, but not too small.

The music got a bit annoying after a while. You might want to add more tracks and a mute button, that's popular. Also, I guess you could make it look better, though that isn't really important. Some proper buttons and stuff?

Great Tutorial

-I used tweening in one of my animations a long time ago and if it wasn't for tutorials like these I would of probably had a hard time trying to figure out how to do it. Thanks for taking your time to make this little badboy since it's pretty informative.

-I absolutely loved how for every slide you made you had a picture by picture animation on the side to show you what the finished product was so you can pinpoint the area you made a mistake if any problem arises. You also turned up the notch and put some advanced stuff in with the basics so this has something for different levels of beginners too.

-Not the best song choice since since it's a bit abrasive to have to listen to for so long. Having something softer would of worked so much better for how big this tutorial is. The mute button is great though when you do get through the song once.

Informative.

I liked this tutorial because it taught me what I didn't know when I used flash, several years ago. The artwork was clean and black, the sample tweens were very nice and the navigation was nice. The one thing I have to comment on that was bad was the music. It didn't fit. Maybe you should have had some softer music in it or maybe some jazz or something. Big techno music doesn't fit this tutorial. Other than that, this was great.

awesome tut

this is a great tut, but just because it doesnt explain how to use cs4 or cs5 doesnt mean you should vote it down, a lot of people still use flash 8. But anyway great tutorial!
