Two problems, and they're related
Some of the deaths send you all the way down the map, rather than killing you where you are.
If you reach a checkpoint you've already passed, you are restarted from that checkpoint if you die. So if you reach the second last checkpoint, then glitch down and end up grabbing the second checkpoint, you have to go through the whole game again. Happened to me after the spikes the first time.

i know the w=point is to be really annoying but the only reaaalyy anoying thing was how long it took to respawn
