A very enjoy able game and one that is constantly challenging. It would be nice to say that I completed the game without dying but this seems almost impossible. Perhaps one day, my friend.

About the 'Bug'
The bug you are facing where you auto-double jump isn't an issue with the game. It's just that you press jump the second you are technically off the ground. That is why you double jump. Just try to jump just before the ledge. By the time the button is actually pressed, you should be at the very edge. I faced the "Auto-Double Jump While Running 'Glitch' ", too, then after some testing, I figured out that's what it was.

The retro graphics, the awesome controls, the catchy music and last but not least the difficulty... all of this makes this game pure win.

those spikes are not easy to see if you're not careful enough.
