Reviews for "Hot Ninja Moon Moon"

Three problems

1: The hitboxing was awful, just like in 90% of flash games on NG. I don't understand why people have such a hard time drawing a rectangle equal to the size of an object.

2: The controls were SEVERELY delayed. You had to jump well before it appeared so or you'd double jump off a platform, for example.

3: The whole "floating forward" thing that happens when you jump isn't a huge deal, but is annoying.

Aside from those it wasn't too bad. I was expecting a lot of pixel-perfect jumps and stupid shit like that, but blissfully they were nowhere to be found. Challenging but beatable.

aaaargh!

im not so very good at these types of games xD. keep messing up about 10 times in each level

but anyways, i digged the music that played, oh the retroness.
and i really liked the animation and the charecter's appereance somehow looked like the Dad from the game Dad & Me .D

Horrible controls

The game itself looks great and is challenging enough as well as fun enough, but the controls are just horrible, I was just trying to jump and the little guy kept double jumping right off the bat and so not only did I not make my jump I couldn't use the double just to save myself, frustrating.

hit detection feel off

There are 2 types of hard games, one that challenge and encourage you to keep trying and those that frustrate and encourage you to stop playing. This fell into the latter category for me. I also had trouble with the hit detection as I found myself getting killed by objects that couldn't have been touching me. The concept is fine and I tried to get into it but without any real story nothing was there to compel me to keep trying.

Enjoyed it

I'm not really bugged at all by games that are difficult so long as they're not totally ruined by it (see I Wanna Be the Flash Game). Nothing wrong with a challenge. Granted, I haven't beaten it yet (haven't even come close), but I think it's fun.
