Reviews for "Endless War: Defense"

Has issues

It was alright overall, but I had to give up before completing the first campaign. I relied only on trenches as the rest seemed too unreliable but I had to deal with a massive issue, once a tank reached the limit with the AT team left without ammo it became near invincible, waiting for the people to die and supplying new Bazookas (too bad explosive devices are useless BTW) doesn't do the trick and reinforcements are completely worthless (if the tank is in the center, they don't even fire a shot before going away). Anyway, I think the infantry ratio should have been a lot higher and there should be less waves since the game is long and repetitive.

not the best

its alright but the music sucks ass.

interesting

but does tend to get boring fast
also this has got to be the worst choice of music i have ever seen

Not too bad

I sort of liked this game. The option to play as different factions was neat and I liked the historical accuracy of the units. Still, I felt like the games was a bit too hands off at times, so I got a bit bored after a while. Oh and like others have been pointing out, the music that you picked for this game is a real mystery to me @_@ it doesn't really fit. Besides that, it's a solid game though.

awesome, but fatal flaws

It's a great defensive line game, but there are 2 things i would want to fix.

1st and foremost.. the music... HOLY FUCKING SHIT! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? It sounds like some of the horrid stuff they used to play in church (thank science that's over!).
I know you can mute it, but then the SFX go away, which ruins it.

2nd. WWII is not the best setting for this type of game. Judging by the gameplay mechanism, this would be great with a WWI theme instead. Maybe with trench lines that the enemy advances across and take cover at to make it more difficult. It also would be more realistic since this game pretty much depicts the actual strategy of WWII

If I were you, I would go back and slightly change a few things in the enemy troop advancement, weapons, and setting to fit WWI (along with mission progression). And add better music, more of an ambient track that doesn't get annoying after prolonged playing. PM me and I can make something better 4 you.
