Reviews for "Endless War: Defense"
Repetitive
At first I found theis game very good, but it got repetitive very soon. After you find a good strategy you will win everything easyly even in hard mode.
It's becouse every battlefield is the same, and all of them is empty at the begining, so you can use the same strategy everywhere. And playing always on a plain green, yello or white field field is boring by itself anyway.
There should be trees, rocks, water, burnt out houses and such things, and they shouldn't be only decoration, but obstackles and covers too - the enemy infantry really needs some cover anyway, so that they wouldn't get massacered so badly!
Also there should be some passive defenses, like mines and tank traps, they would make the battles much less boring.
Sometimes you should join in mid-battle, so some defenses are alredy built, so that you'd be forced to use a different strategy than your usual, wich would make the game much more challengeing!
There are some other issues with the game too:
- Useing a gun is not fun at all: you don't see it fireing, nor the bullets hitting the ground or the enemy, and no weapon is effective when you use it. There should be bullet traces just like in EW 2 and 3, at least for your weapon, you must be able to make the difference between your shots and the rest! Also it should be seen when an enemy got hit (and maybe when an ally got hit too)!
- The enemy uses a terrible strategy by attacking first with veichles then with infantry! Like this the infantry are just moveing targets, and the veichles are more vulnerable too. They should attack at the same time, so they could cover eachother!
- It's not a big flaw, but kinda strange that when I played with the Germans, the enemy was the same nation everywhere. I don't remember if they were the Russians or the Americans, but the same everywhere!
A good defenes game
Not a GREAT denfence game, it could be better.

Another great Endless War game!
As every other Endless War game, this is great. I would only whine about the music, it really doesn't fit. I wish I could turn it off without turning off the sound too. It really sounds something like "The Sims: Battlefield".
Looking forward to Endless War IV, hopefully with more sci-fi levels. (Do Half-Life plz :) )
