"Deep"
The first half of the animation was humorous and set the stage for the second half.
The second half (the climbing scene) was absolutely beautiful. The transmissions between the types of tree were fluid and downright stunning, and the ending was just right. It felt like the animation had a deeper message, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

Excellent storytelling, Change nothing.
As an animation, there were certain aspects that probably were lacking compared to the scale brought by other parts of the clip, but the main thing that actually drew me out to review this is the scale in which you've brought out the theme and the overall scope of the story.
It's pretty much about an artist who looks for inspiration from the highest places, only to find that looking from a different viewpoint, where he was was all the inspiration he had ever needed.
I'm glad that artists like you put out your works on Newgrounds. It's pieces like this that make a site like Newgrounds worth my while. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if this was nominated for Flash movie of the Year.
To you, a well deserved 10/10.
It lacks nothing
if something were to be changed the flash wouldn't be so good, its been a long time since a flash surprised me so, i was expecting for a humor flash, but i saw something way better
