All I got to say is...
I was going to write my review but the two artists below me (Chingmongna and that flashx guy) kind of beat me to it. I'm a fan of old fashion american animation much more than japanese because of fluidity and whatnot (all dogs go to heaven for instance) but I decided to give it a shot.
the animation, while being anime, was actually not that bad, in fact, probably one of the few anime type shows I enjoyed... right up until the old flashback with that red bull thing. I've watched a bit of simpsons and family guy, so that joke is extremely cliche'. Herbert the Pervert is also kind of cliche, since there's a bunch of flashes with him.
Overall though, this wasn't that bad, but at the same time wasn't too original. The high scores just for that herbert scene is pretty much the same with high scores with scenes of their favorite video game characters....
My score for this is a 5, however, while I agree with the two below me, where the flash didn't need such a high score, at the same time, it didn't deserve a low score either. so I gave it an 8 to counter them to a 5 (8+4+3= 15/3= 5). Keep up the good work!

Oh, me too honey, me too! I LOVE American cartoons but I draw anime...it's my style. (Haven't actually watched anime in years, but I still like it artistically).
I don't really think anime should be compared to American Cartoons, because I feel that they're completely different. It's like comparing cats and dogs...certain people will prefer one over the other but can still appreciate the merits of both.
You think so? I thought it was less cliche than if she had drunk the Red Bull and begun bouncing off the walls and acting all hyper. XD But to each his own!
And just to clarify...Family Guy is NOT the only show to use flashbacks, it's a running gag for them but I only used it once. :)
I agree, which is why I'm done with parodies. Referencing will still be used but I won't insert any characters that aren't mine. :) I want to know that people like the animation for it's own merits and not because of a well-loved and well-known character.
