Good game.

Very good game, but i had a probleme with the controles the direction keys where sticking on one side i dont no if you guys had that probleme. Looking forward to the complete version.

excellent story so far

What I love about gaming is that a simple 2d game can be engaging as long as the story is interesting and the gameplay is smooth. So far I'd say Project Flame has a 10/10 on story and maybe 9/10 on gameplay. Really my only complaint, like one other I read, is that you have to jump fairly early sometimes to make it off a platform. I died a few times because I'd hit jump, while still on the platform, but fall anyway.

Otherwise, I'm looking forward to seeing the various applications of the flamethrower besides killing monsters (like the rusty lock, nice touch). For example, you could light dynamite, burn the rope to a suspended load for, heat water to make steam (or boil a bad guy), or as a quasi rocket engine for a sled/mine cart. I'd suggest, by the way, using the mouse to control the flamethrower so multiple directions would be an option. Heck, the flamethrower could be upgraded to double your jump and slow your fall.

Lastly, I know you'll have no problem finding beta testers, but a good editor can smooth the flow of dialog and other written bits ::cough cough, BA in English Lit/Creative Writing, cough cough::

but if they do i think that no need for every corpses.

Hmmm

The game does a piss-poor job of teaching you the controls (and by that I mean that you have to *guess* every control unless you checked the options before you started) but other than that and the poor grammar, this game is coming along nicely! Nothing that can't be fixed for the final version. :)
