Very good
In a word, awesome. I haven't played arcade mode yet but the story mode is kind of too short, your rescued before you get a chance to really get into the high-tier upgrades. Digging for resources was a very nice idea, and overall a very good game.

the game was awesome! i loved the concept of digging for resources =P, and for all of those people who are whining about the giant worm boss being too hard, just play arcade mode which is more fun anyways =)! you get a 9 for the worm boss, if it was a little easier this game would have gotten a 10!!
P.S. no giant worms and speedy critters on arcade and you have much more time to get some resources to buy weapons and armor
Instant classic
To me it was a lot of fun. I liked the idea of crafting your own items and upgrading your base with resources you look for during the day. Although I could have asked for less conventional monsters and more on foot combat, these are negligible.
Kudos, and forget the people that rate this low because they suck. I was able to beat the giant worm without a hassle.
Fun, but
if someone (like me) tries to heve a long, drawn out battle with the giant worm, you'll eventually lose: the little bugs keep getting stronger and stronger. This wouldn't be a problem as long as you're faster than your opponents... well that's it, even with maxed out speed stat and speed-gear, those blue "sonicthehedgehog" bugs were able to close the gap between their spawnpoint and me in 2 seconds, then kill me in 1 second. Now THAT's frustrating! So: no running around for better gear, start killing the damn worm as soon as it appears!
Anyway, the digging and the crafting/upgrade systems were really neat and creative. For that I give you 5/5 and 9/10
