Reviews for "KAZAHANA: Merciless"

i can see the effort

good story, average animation, good music, overall good set up. the best part of the movie was the voice acting. the emotion and clarity in the voice acting made the movie.

Greatness.

I've been following Lifepoint1 animations since the early XIN days, (6 years ago) and you guys never disappoint. I can always look forward to great flash submissions from Max and Steve, as well as your team of voice actors.

There was only one thing that bothered me here. I always thought the character artwork (not just in this one, but in most of your animations) could use a bit of fine tuning. It's like the backgrounds and other objects are done in good detail, but the characters just seems a tad bit simplistic. Leaves me with a feeling like "they could've drawn that character better." I'm not saying the characters look horrible. Just that I think you're capable of drawing them better.

But you definitely make up for that with the epic fight scenes. I can tell that a lot of thought was put into choreographing the battle. I can definitely see the great detail that was put into that as well as the backgrounds and various objects in the scenes, as I mentioned earlier.

And you guys always have great storylines so no need to even comment on that. Lol. Overall, great job as usual!

i like it

i like it but i thought it was kinda of corny to kill the guy with tha headband like that and the girl trying to get revenge for her husband like that wasnt really epic enough for the story but still it rocked

Loved it!

All I can really say as far as criticism goes is that it lacked in the department of art quality... The voices, AMAZING, the story is gripping, sound quality, personally i prefer high sound quality, but i get reducing file size. Just the animations weren't very... Well... Good, to be honest. I'd love to see this produced professionally, it'd add a lot to see some amazingly crisp animations :D

A lot of dialog in this one, but you really do manage that tension well! And animation quality keeps improving. Not bad. From the start, when there were five scenes, I was thinking maybe this would be multiple short stories to tie everything together, but seems there's more to look forward to yet!
