Review.

First of all these have got to be the worst controls for a flash game I've ever seen. Secondly, I laughed at how you are saying people are stupid because they can't beat the game. Well you know what? If you made it so you could beat it without the worst controls ever we wouldn't have this problem. LolUmad.

First off, too hard.

Couldn't ya at least have had a save point per room? There's games that's extremely hard, but they are still rewarding. This one feels like it gives ya the finger each time ya die. I didn't get further than a few rooms, which is kinda why i am so annoyed.

After passing the first room fairly quickly, i got to the first save point. The thought i got there was like "Hell yes, i fucking beat that god damn cloud!".

Then the next one never came. Well, it probably does, but by the time i've gotten far and then died. I just have to do it over again.. and again.. and again..
There is no reward, whatsoever. By the time you're done with this game, you've got raw hatred against it. This is not a game, this is an endurance test.

I mean, okay, challenges are good, but a challenge without a reward does not make it worth it. The game doesn't get fun, at all. I'm giving this game 1/5

Good luck with future game however.

All I really can say about this game is... FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU it's impossible!!! :(

Don't Complain

You can't just make a remake of "I Want to be the Guy", but with poor and inconsistent controls and guise it as a "challenge" that people can't handle. If a game gets bashed, it's frankly not that good.

If you intended to make a well designed game that was very hard, you accomplished half of that goal. But if music choice, control scheme, and awful platforming in general was part of the "make the game more intolerable" then congratulations, you made an intolerable game.

If a game is hard to beat because the level requires that good of reflexes, that good of control, and the level design is that complex you have a good game thats damn hard to beat.

If a game is hard to beat because it the control scheme feels like something a flash newbie would upload under the misspelled title of "Mah first test platformer [REALY HAARD]" then expect sub optimal scoring.

Sure this rating seems a little arrogant, but do understand the simple democratic on newgrounds that bad ratings = bad game. This game could be great if it was difficult for honest reasons. Not because you just didn't want to bother adding friction to moving platforms or debug the double jump glitches.

This is way too buggy.

Designing the game with some intentional bugs in it just so it's harder makes a lot of sense in a game like this, but the problem is that it's inconsistent. The pink level with the moving spikes (two before the angry gorilla) seems like the worst example of this - 3 out of 4 times I restart the level, I can't double jump, which is far more frustrating than it would be if it worked the same way every time I tried the same thing. I thought doing the same thing over and over and expecting different things wasn't supposed to happen unless you've lost your mind. Maybe that means I have D:
