It was awesome.
The combination of pixel and non-pixel really gave the video game feel to it, but giving it more liveliness as well. We see pixel animations all the time where speech is all rendered into bubbles and for us to click "continue" to move on. But yours puts it into a full animation, allowing more development to go into the characters, and, might I add, keeping us from having to press the spacebar to continue dialog. =P
The only, if it could count as a comment, thing that I had was that the tie threw me off up until the first non-pixelated animation. I thought it was an extremely long drip of saliva hanging from his mouth and I wondered for the first quarter of the animation if I was missing some inside joke, or something from a past series. I think it was just the combination of the tie being kind of spit colored, and overlapping with his mouth in some cases, such as the loading screen.
Anyway. As I said, it was awesome, and I'm looking forward to watch what else you've created, as well as in the future.
