Reviews for "Hippolyta"

Tests your brain to the limit.

Beautifully crafted game. The drawing and design was immaculate, and sound quality was excellent (for something that relies so much on sound, it would have to be!).

Anybody about to play this game, I will warn you: It can really screw up your eyes after a while. It is a game that will test your ability to memorise different solutions to problems, as well as your ability to keep your concentration, and not get distracted.

The one point I would make which would have made this perfect was that in the later levels when the music builds up, the drums can overwhelm the sound effects, making it more difficult to hear the sound effects (especially if you listening for incoming riders and their horses galloping). Other than that, absolutely brilliant.

lol

lol im surprised any 1 would kill her when she has no top on :)

Please give her a shirt

The game is good but......... here tits are ...... yeah....

not the best

it is repetitive and it needs work. no tutorial leaves this game's game play just a guess and check. repeating soundtracks and backgrounds don't help it either. challenging does not make a game. the only plus was the naked chick on the horse.

Needs adjustments

Cons and improvement tips:
-Introduce obstacles beforehand, and tell the player how to beat them. That way it really is a reaction game, and not a guessing game, fueled by frustrating trial and error.
-Explain the upgrades on the main menu. What do they protect against? I got the chest armor, thinking it would protect me from pitchforks. It didn't, all it did was cover up her boobies!
-The overhead branch that you had to duck under blends in a little too well, and I died countless times from not even seeing it there, while I was looking for OTHER things to avoid. Just make it a little more obvious.
-Make her duck until I let go of d, keep her shield up until I let go of a. I get that it's a reaction game, but it's frustrating to die constantly, trying to figure out the right moment to press a button for a certain obstacle, especially when you're almost through a level and have to start all the way over.
-Following up on the last point, shorten the levels, or make check points. It is infinitely frustrating to start ALL The way over, cuz I didn't jump at the right time on the FINAL obstacle.
Pros:
+Sometimes, obstacles were spaced just enough apart to be possible, and it was quite a rush to dodge like ten obstacles in a row, and miss so narrowly.
+Sometimes Hippolyta shouted out warnings, which were a great help. "Speed up to jump the huge gap!" "Arrows! Look out!"
+Nice animation, narration, and story.
+Once you get the hang of it, after trial and error, it's great fun.
