Frustrating
I loved the concept & game (mostly). Unfortunately the game mechanic was spoilt for me by the amount of time it takes to beat up Doug on later levels (even with a maxed weapon). I find that I can spend up to a quarter of the time each time I need to bash up Doug - not really enjoyable because Karryon's response time is so poor and never seems to improve. Even if I guess the right barrel Doug pops out of and click immediately, by the time Karryon has done his silly jump, Doug has run off to another barrel. Why such long delay?! As for the weapon upgrades - they don't really help since Doug gets tougher and tougher. It would've made more sense to have Doug stay the same toughness, but to appear more often and move faster (which he seems to do already anyway!!) - that way it feels as is the weapon upgrades make the game easier (rather then feeling like I'm forced to get them to be able to play). The graphics are fine - except for the blurred arrow at later levels, which was annoying. I know I didn't like Doug getting tougher - but maybe if he actually LOOKED tougher (for example he starts to wear different headgear (like a saucepan!)) I might have been less grumpy.
