Reviews for "Zelda: Lost Prophet"

Ehhh

I wouldnt say that it's the best, but it most definitely isnt the worst. I'd say keep at it and you could do some really good work in the near future. Keep it up.

HeroPower responds:

Thanks dude

Not Bad

You need to submit more animations. The more you do, the better it will be eventually. This looks promising. Got time some new zelda vids were made :D.
Keep it up.

HeroPower responds:

I do animate little animations to practice new techniques I just don't submit them here cuz like I said they are little animations that you guys would blam the hell out of haha

HeroPower responds:

Appreciate the review man. Yeah I love the Song of Storms :D

From Norway?

Awesome!

hmm...

this could be interesting to see a part 2. the animation was ok, and the music went well. my real only complaint is that there was no story or no point to this flash. BUT Im hopeing that all changes in part two! hope to see it out there soon!

HeroPower responds:

I know a lot of people were disappointed with a lack of story/plot. I planned to unveil it all in the second episode. It's gonna be intrigueing to say the least. Guess I should have added some in here to hold you guys over :-/

You know,

This is a good start if anything. If anything, you need to really work on your art style. It seems too "square". What I mean is that it looks like a very young person drew it in paint. Granted some of it was good looking, but taking the time to truly evolve your art style into something much more detailed and fuller will definitely make your animations much cleaner and prettier. I'm not sure what your method of drawing is but I suggest maybe investing some money into this if you can if not invest the time and effort to make it work if you can't spend money.

Sound was very clean. No clipping in the music or sound effects. Everything seemed to be the same audio level. Didn't have any problems there. Always a plus.

For the animation I found it to be very smooth. Very little to no chopping or clipping. Good job there. I liked the idea of the story, but had very little plot to it. You should look into making it into something that will allow the audience to connect with. Give the flash a sense of emotion and engage your audience with a mood instead of just pure combat. You see too many combat style animations these days. It just feels like I'm watching another damn Dragonball Z animation.

Overall, I see potential and say keep pushing forward. Develop your story. Add emotion besides fighting. Take the time to make your art evolve into something much fuller as it has potential. I thin its a start. Not the greatest, not the best. I say it was worth it if you learned something from the experience.

HeroPower responds:

Thanks for the feedback dude. I do plan on adding an intrigueing storyline that I have planned out and it will be full of emotion, trust me on that one. My art is "square"? Ha I can see what you mean. If you read my quote under my profile pic it says "I'm not an artist by any means" and it's true. I'm really not. Not sure if I ever will be. But I will try harder to add more detail/depth to my characters next time.
