Reviews for "Mad Karate Man"

unplayable

i have no idea what all these reviews saying you can keep the business man in the air indefinitely are going on about.

the business man blocks almost every hit. upgrades increase in cost so fast you can't really do anything.

i don't see how people are able to kick forever, kicking costs power and you only have a limited amount. if i am lucky and get like 4 or 5 head kicks, then i might have enough power for two or three kicks (three at best)

also i don't understand why the tooltip for highkick (in the upgrades menu) says to click either the business man or the ninja. those seem to be two totally different things.

kicking the ninja seems to give you 1 energy.. and kicking the business man takes a bunch of energy away.

also why would you click the business man instead of the button on the left? why have both.

i'm missing something.. because this game makes no sense to me.

i think it's probably just poorly designed..

Easy but hard?

I got 12th place after getting all my shit together,in the national boards.

bit easy,but fun.

Alright, but once upgrades are maxed...

It's fun, and working through the upgrades is enjoyable.

However, once the upgrades are all maxed (or just the right upgrades, since you can ignore the energy blast line and likely a few others with little impact), you can literally keep the man in the air indefinitely (flying-kick the man the moment he stops ascending, whack ninjas until he stops ascending, flying kick again, repeat as desired), should you choose to. This makes a high-score less of a matter of skill and more of patience and resistance to boredom.

For example, I systematically kept the businessman airborne for 15 minutes, achieving a final height of 1,562,515,796m, over 4 times the average distance to the Moon. I then let him coast for another 5 minutes, over which he reached a final horizontal distance of 1,174,042,211m, more than 29 times the average circumference of the Earth.

I only hit 2nd place in the rankings.

Keep playing!

I have to admit, I was kind of bored at first, but after the first few upgrades, you get in some pretty sweet combos and you get to the point where it seems like you can go indefinitely. Not too much point in playing after you max out all the upgrades, unless you're going for the high score. I didn't find the energy blast all that useful, and it seemed like kind of an afterthought and didn't have much weight in the game. I would have almost preferred it if only the kicks had been used - after all, that's all I used anyway. Overall, pretty fun once you get going. Achievements/medals would have been a nice touch. Maybe in the sequel?

lolol

spammed flying kick so much that he went so high that i glitched up the meight meter and it got stuck...AWESOME
